Did you wear anklets as a kid? I thought anklets were the coolest thing ever. I constantly had something tied or clipped around my ankle from the time I was nine until approximately 2001, and often those anklets were of my own braided or beaded design, thankyouverymuch. I had a really cool (we’re using the word “cool” loosely here) plastic box that was meant to hold fishing lures, but it held beads and thread and all kinds of craft store miscellany from which I could choose to decorate my ankles.
