Jennifer Lopez Giuseppe Zanotti Suede Ankle Strap Pumps

Here’s Jennifer Lopez heading into an interview for HuffPo Live in a stunning pair of Giuseppe Zanotti Suede Ankle Strap Pumps. While many brands have largely abandoned platforms in favor of single soles in the last few seasons, celebs are slow to turn their back on platforms altogether. The garish platforms of two years ago have been wholly replaced by sleeker, more subtle platform styles like this one, or the ever-popular Saint Laurent Janis Pump. Read More...

TS Testimonials Feature Image

A few things come to mind when you think of Valentino, but for me, it’s the Rockstud pump. Maria Grazia Chiuri and Pierpaolo Piccioli, creative directors of the brand, rocked the footwear world with their edgy Rockstud kitten-heel back when it debuted in 2010 and now, four years later, the Rockstud pump is as popular as ever and has been adapted in various heel heights and materials. Brian Atwood and Donald Robertson Charity Feature Image

Illustrator Donald Robertson is widely known for his funny, fashion-themed sketches, and his latest project is a collaboration with footwear designer Brian Atwood to benefit the National Multiple Sclerosis Society. According to Style.com, a member of Atwood’s family was recently diagnosed with the disease and he feels “special to be able to bring Donald into the MS family in an artistic way.”

The two became friends after Robertson saw Atwood’s Fall 2014 collection, and Atwood told Style.com that he’s a “huge fan of his work, and I was interested in seeing how he would interpret my work.” This collaboration includes a limited-edition illustrated book, where Robertson recreates Atwood with some of his signature pumps, which will be available on Saturday at New York City’s Five Eleven gallery. The Many Shoes of Taylor Swift

I have a confession to make. Here at the TalkShoes office, we all have a case of Taylor Swift fever. With the recent release of her new album, 1989, now felt like the right time to investigate her shoe collection.

Back when we started the Many Shoes series, one of the first celebrities I wanted to profile was Taylor. After browsing her shoe collection, I realized that she liked to play it safe, but lately, things have drastically improved. Read More...

GIVENCHY Marzia suede and leather sandals

New to the Fall 2014 lineup, this Givenchy Marzia Sandal is the shoe cousin to the popular Givenchy Matilda sandal. Both the Matilda and the Marzia feature the signature screw heel attached to the chunky block upper, while the Marzia features more straps than the Matilda. The straps give this sandal a more ladylike feel while retaining the original’s sexiness. Read More...
