Alyson Hannigan wears Kate Spade Licorice Hologram Pumps at The Late Show (5)

Alyson Hannigan was photographed wearing a fun pair of Kate Spade Hologram Licorice Pumps on her way into The Late Show earlier this week. These flashy kicks feature holographic tic tac Italian leather, a four inch heel and a serious nineties vibe. Needless to say, I think they’re pretty fabulous. You can pick up a pair for yourself for $328 at Kate Spade. Read More…

Kate Spade Gwen Flats

With single-sole pumps the chicest thing going in the heel world at the moment, it seems that flats have gotten a bit of a stylistic cleanup of their own. Of course, flats suffer from a few design challenges: they provide little surface area for a designer to work with, people expect them to be comfortable to an extent that they don’t expect of other types of shoes and the angle at which a foot interacts with the back of a flat can often be more blister-inducing than even the worst heels. Keds Kate Spade Sneakers

One of my favorite things about spring and summer is the opportunity to run around for months at a time in cute canvas sneakers and be simultaneously comfortable and stylish. A good pair will go with anything from cutoffs to a sundress, and there’s no need to spend more than a hundred dollars for them. Considering all that, I’m sure you can understand my excitement when I heard that Keds, the sneaker-purveyor of my youth, was teaming up with Kate Spade, the girlish fun-purveyor of my present, on a capsule collection of fun, summery kicks. Polka dots on a shoe, may I say: genius! In case you didn’t know by now, I am a huge Kate Spade girl, so my opinion may be biased when I say that I LOVE these pumps (and yes, the capslock was needed here). For a lack of better words, these pumps are utterly adorable. They brought a smile to my face when browsing around for my next post idea, and if that’s not a clear indication that a shoe captures your heart, I don’t know what is. Read More…

Kate Spade is a brand with a very specific identity: It makes girly things things that appeal to adult women, and it generally manages to do so without being too precious or saccharine. The company’s last few collections have been particularly successful, and Kate Spade Resort 2012 has debuted to keep the good times rolling.

And roll they do; although there are one or two missteps here that I’m sure you can identify without my help, the pumps and flats are feminine perfection in candy colored satin and patent (not to mention multihued glitter.) Shoes like that have always been Spade’s strong suit, and the company is only getting stronger. Read More…

Kate Spade Lourdes Slingbacks, $285 via Zappos.

Nothing, that’s what.

I’ve talked a bit over at PurseBlog about how Kate Spade has done such a great job of creating a very clear ideal woman since the brand hired some new creative talent several seasons back, and the Kate Spade Lourdes Slingbacks – are an extension of that woman. They’re bright, confident, and totally in charge of their own personal style, just like the women who wear them will be. Read More…

For the past month or two, I’ve had my eye on the Kate Spade Licorice Suede Pumps. They come in colors from red to purple to basic black, and I just knew that Kate Spade would eventually turn out a great spring bright that would instantly grab my attention. In this case, patience was indeed a virtue.

Obviously, anyone with two eyes and a love for color knows that the day has come where I can finally write about these shoes in all their glory. Read More…

Does looking at a shoe without a platform throw anyone else off a little bit? Platforms have become so omnipresent that it’s not overly common to find a heel worth writing about that doesn’t have one, and when I do, I always have to adjust for a moment before I can really start deciding what I think about the design.

The Kate Spade Cybil Booties are certainly worthy of mention, and if you like their look, they present something of a perfect neutral-shoe option: they would look appropriate in either cold or warm weather, with pants or dresses, and even in the workplace. Read More…
