Jason Wu x Melissa Jason Wu collaborates with Melissa for...plastic shoes?

Melissa shoes always trick me. I see them on a website out of the corner of my eye, sitting there with all of the regular leather shoes, looking safe and lovely. And then I remember that the Brazillian brand only makes shoes out of rubber, and I die a little bit inside for all of the cute, reasonably priced shoes that I could have had. It looks like I’m going to be doing more of that very, very soon. Have these people no concern for my psyche?

FabSugar is reporting that Jason Wu will join the long list of designers who have collaborated with Melissa on shoe collections, and with that list including names like Vivienne Westwood and Jean Paul Gaultier, Wu is certainly in good company. Based on the pictures above, which are typical of Melissa collaborations, would you consider partaking in this line? My feet sweat too much for plastic shoes to ever be a possibility, but surely someone out there buys them.
