Burgundy Boots Are burgundy boots the new big thing for fall?

In fashion, as in life, I always go by the old saying: Two’s a coincidence, three’s a trend. That must mean that four’s a sure thing, right? Full fall collections have yet to arrive, but I’m betting that the members of the group above aren’t the only members of the burgundy boot club that we’ll see for the season.

From Tory Burch to Dior, brands are going just a few shades redder than classic brown to explore shades of wine (Did someone say wine? It’s Friday.) as neutrals, and I think they’ll find that it works rather splendidly. Who wants brown when you can have deep crimson? The colors are equally versatile, and one is a lot more interesting and unexpected than the other, particularly in the large expanse that knee-high boots provide.
