Donna Karan Shoes

There’s something about the Donna Karan Linen-Canvas Platform Sandals this is just so thoroughly American. And when I say that, I mean they’re American in a Hamptons/Ralph Lauren/sailboat sort of way. Luckily for the folks at Donna Karan (and for us!), that sort of American is just the thing that I want to sign up for at this time of year.

Baby blue is perhaps one of my least favorite colors in all of the known universe, but in this case, it just works. I’m not sure if it’s the summery fabric or the white trim, but this pair of shoes makes me want to cover myself in linen and head to the nearest rich-person beach that I can find. I’d save the heels for later, of course.
