When I first set my eyes on the Cole Haan Air Veronica Gladiator Sandals, my automatically assumed that they must be made by a trendy, modern, youth-targeted brand like Dolce Vita or Ash, or maybe even a more high-end designer like Ann Demeulemeester, whose footwear is known for dark leather and extremely clean lines. We’ve all heard Coco Chanel’s old advice that you should always remove one thing before leaving the house. It’s supposed to ensure that your look stays natural and never crosses the line into “overdressed,” but mostly it just makes Coco sound like a party-pooper.
