Christian Louboutin Fifi Sequined Leopard Pumps, $1495 via ChristianLouboutin.com

As I sit here and type this, I’m wearing a leopard-print house dress. (The perks of working from home, you guys.) I’m sitting a few feet away from a closet that features no fewer than four leopard dresses of different colors, textiles and eras. I have a fifth leopard dress sitting in an online shopping cart as we speak, waiting to be purchased once I get done writing. Read More…

Christian Louboutin New Marpoli Slingbacks, $750 via Net-a-Porter

Christian Louboutin’s outrageous shoes get all the attention. Sure, platforms covered in Swarovski crystals, pink spikes or googly eyes may be surefire head-turners, but what most women really want and need in their shoe closets are basics that they’re proud to own and wear frequently. Christian Louboutin Lavallier Pumps, $795 via Net-a-Porter.

I feel as though I make some sort of hacky Elvis reference every time I write about a pair of blue suede shoes, but this time, I mean it. I would be seriously pissed if anyone stepped on my Christian Louboutin Lavallier Pumps. So much so that I’d probably take one of them off and hit the offending shoe-stepper with it, which means that I should never wear a pair of these on the subway, lest I cause a riot. Read More…

Did you take one look at these Christian Louboutin Point Shoe Stilettos and immediately think, “Whoa, high-end fetish gear?” If you did, you spend far too much time on the Internet, just like I do. And although these shoes do look an awful lot like the bondage shoes featured on sites less family-friendly than this one, these Louboutins are for a much more high-brow purpose: to benefit the English National Ballet.
