Ok, so I understand that mermaids don’t have feet. That’s an inherent flaw in mermaids. Charlotte Olympia, Tabatha Simmons and now Chrissie Morris are making some of the most fun and creative shoes on the high-end market, and I find something new to like about those ladies and their wares with every passing season. As soon as I saw the Chrissie Morris Isadore Python Peep Toe Pumps, I knew that the designer had to be British. I wasn’t overly familiar with Morris’s past work, but after some quick Googling, it appears as though my instinct was right. The young shoe designer is indeed of English extraction, and the witty, stylish designs in her eponymous line remind me of the best of other young British collections like Charlotte Olympia and Tabatha Simmons.
