Actress Michelle Monaghan recently attended the American Cinematheque Awards, where her True Detective costar Matthew McConaughey was honored for his contribution to the cinematic arts. Michelle hit the red carpet in a sparkling pair of mixed media Christian Louboutin Pina Spike Sandals. You can find these exact sandals for $1,045 at Neiman Marcus.

Louboutins are always a celeb fave for event carpets, but these sandals have a lot going on, and won’t necessarily mix well with other bold designer wares. Michelle pulls this style off by keeping it simple (and extra feminine) above the knee. Her adorable pale pink frock with floral trim is a Miu Miu, and her simple, glittering black clutch is from Lanvin.

Here’s professional Rich Kid Dorothy Wang, attending Nicky Hilton’s book launch party for 365 Style at Kyle Richardson’s Beverly Hills boutique. She’s wearing the now-discontinued Christian Louboutin Lady Daf Leopard Pumps (the bloom is off the rose for extreme-platform stilettos, I’m afraid) and carrying a black Hermès Ghillies Kelly Bag. There are precious few pairs of Lady Dafs left online, but you can (somewhat miraculously) still find them in black suede for $1,075 at Barneys.

If you wanted to stock up on Lady Dafs for the inevitable platform pump renaissance, I wouldn’t think you were insane at all. The Lady Dafs are one of Louboutin’s more outrageous styles, and they were ridiculously popular at the height of the platform pump craze. Now they seem quite dramatic in comparison to the demure single-soled Louboutins that are hot this season. When will platforms be back, you ask? I’d guesstimate Fall 2017. Spring 2018 at the very latest.

Kerry Washington recently attended the ELLE Women in Hollywood Awards in LA wearing a most enviable pair of Christian Louboutin Miss Rigidaine PVC d’Orsay Pumps. These dramatic Louboutins are from Spring 2014, which means they are, sadly, no longer available. While these pumps may be just out of your reach, there are plenty of Christian Louboutins to be found at Net-a-Porter. Kerry’s shoe game is (predictably) pretty awesome, and you can peruse most of her designer footwear collection in “The Many Shoes of Kerry Washington.”

Despite their brief production, these PVC Loubs have had one of the longest red carpet lives of any of the shoes from the PVC-panel craze. While the trend has definitely died down, we have noticed a slight uptick in PVC love on event carpets this month. Selena Gomez donned a beautiful pair of transparent Manolo Blahnik Pacha Pumps to a film premiere a couple of weeks ago.

Julie Bowen recently took to the red carpet at an event for the Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation in a colorful pair of Adidas Originals Rivalry Hi Sneakers. This is an extremely cute, casual look for Julie, who we’re more accustomed to seeing dressed in formal attire every awards season. These sneakers are sold out, but you can find a wide selection of Adidas sneaks at Zappos.

Adidas has been a favorite with sneaker-loving celebs for a few years now, and the brand has responded by upping their style game with ever-so-slightly more high-end options and designer/celeb collaborations that are more comparable to the fashion-forward offerings from their chief competitor, Nike. Most recently, the brand teamed up with TS favorite Rita Ora for a fall line of footwear and apparel, which is in stores now.

Alaïa is beloved by celebs for its gorgeous booties and pumps, but we rarely see the brand’s shoes incorporated into such casual ensembles. Victoria Beckham seems to be pulling it off, though. Here she is, coming out of her NYC hotel in a pair of black Alaïa Suede Zipper Boots, paired with distressed skinny jeans and a pretty killer green leather jacket. You can find Victoria’s exact boots for $2,360 at Net-a-Porter.

Victoria was one of our first (and most deserving) celebs to receive her own edition of “The Many Shoes of…,” but the post quickly morphed into “The Many Manolos of Victoria Beckham,” due to the rapid proliferation of pap pics of Posh Spice in the brand’s signature BB Pumps. Manolos are an integral, everyday part of Victoria’s fashion uniform, as I’m sure they are for many of our readers.

Here’s Nicole Richie, heading into the Sirius Radio studios in NYC to promote the second season of her show Candidly Nicole. She’s wearing an eternally chic pair of black Manolo Blahnik Suede BB Pumps, which set off her gilded chevron pants, emerald satin blouse, and purple-tinted ‘do quite nicely. These BBs are available in a rainbow of colors for $595 at Saks.

The iconic BB Pump was at the top of our list of “The 17 Shoe Classics Worth Owning,” right alongside other celeb favorites like the Casadei Blade Pumps and the Stuart Weitzman Nudist Sandals. Nicole Richie has her pick of the lot, of course, and you can check out an expansive selection of her best designer handbags, shoes, and style statements in “The Many Bags of Nicole Richie” on PurseBlog.

Here’s Mad Men star Kiernan Shipka, getting takeout in LA and somehow managing to look totally age-appropriate in very expensive designer shoes, which is something of a feat for a girl who turns 15 next month. Her shoes are the Mary Jane-esque Fendi Chameleon Pumps, which are available in an open-toed version and a different colorway for $890 at Saks.

Kiernan is barely a legit teenager, but she still has better taste in footwear than many celebs twice her age, as evidenced by this quirky pair of bronze-heeled Fendi pumps. We saw her in a gorgeous, glittery pair of Stuart Weitzman Nudist Sandals last spring, and she wore a darling pair of Oscar de la Renta Peep Toe Pumps to last year’s Screen Actors Guild Awards.

Emma Stone was recently spotted ducking into a screening of her upcoming film Birdman at the 92Y in NYC on Monday night in a pair of gorgeous, cherry red Aquazzura Matilde Suede Pumps. It was a little drizzly outside, but it’s much easier to get away with suede shoes in the rain when you have a driver. You can find Emma’s pumps in black suede for $695 at Net-a-Porter.

Emma has top-notch taste in shoes, but I don’t feel the fashion world has given her her proper due lately for being the fantastic dresser that she obviously is. We try to do our part, of course, and you can see some of Emma’s best designer pumps and looks in “The Many Shoes of Emma Stone”.
