You could walk a mile in Botkier’s Julie Boots
If you are one of those people so unfortunate as to follow me on Twitter, then you know that I’ve been on an all-out hunt for a pair of day boots for the past few weeks. I’ve run into myriad problems: many of the styles I like look far better in weathered brown leather, but I have little use for brown shoes; I tend to gravitate to high heels but those aren’t practical for daytime; I don’t want anything over-embellished so I can wear the boots for more than one season. If I’m going to spend the money, I need these boots to be all things to all people, and by “all people,” I mean me.
Finally, I think I’ve found a pair that solve all of those problems for me. The Botkier Julie Boots are knee-high, relatively simple but not boring, and they have a heel that wouldn’t prevent me from going about my day-to-day activities. They look great in black and the leather, as with most of Botkier’s products, looks like pure buttah.
