I’m trying really hard to understand these shoes. Trying really hard. But I just do not understand the idea behind these shoes. There are large massive amounts of open spaces. And then there are laces, in the center of the shoe. By themselves. And an ankle strap. These are the Burberry Lace-Up Flat Sandals, a complete and total miscommunication between Burberry and fashionable shoes.

I don’t think I’m alone in saying that these are totally wrong, on so many accounts.

Balmain likes to ask us to pay hundreds for a ripped up tee-shirt and thousands for a pair of canvas boots. Kim Kardashian may splurge on Balmain, but I have never felt the urge to or found any item of which I could justify the price. Kim choose to wear the $1,195 Balmain Lace-Up Canvas Ankle Boots out on the town in Miami. These lace-up boots are made of khaki colored canvas.

So are they worth it?

I am writing about these shoes because they are named after me, well, kind of. The Megan’s from Jimmy Choo are close enough to my full name, Meaghan. So I’ll take it. And you know what, these shoes do my name justice.

The Jimmy Choo Megan Zebra Sandals feature strappy black and white zebra print hide. There is only one detail that I am not fond of.
