Givenchy Embellished Suede Sandals

Usually, our weekly game of Fill in the Blank is played with a pair of absolutely zany shoes, and I restrain myself from filling in the own answer. It’s a time for you guys to shine! Some shoes, though, are worth breaking the rules for, and the Givenchy Embellished Suede Sandals are definitely on that list of stunners. Hubba hubba.

This Givenchy design isn’t exactly new – the shark’s tooth closure was introduced for Spring 2012 – but because these shoes line up so perfectly with what’s going on in footwear fashion right now, they’re worth noticing. They have the requisite minimal ankle strap-toe strap combination that’s all on the chicest spring shoes, and they do it in a way that’s utterly Givenchy without being obtrusive. If you have a little cocktail dress in your closet that would lend itself to dark shoes, you’d be remiss to choose any besides these. Not that these shoes wouldn’t look equally amazing with close-cropped, ankle-length trousers or a skirt or, well, anything. They’re a basic-acting shoe that’s not at all basic, which means they’ll totally become a wardrobe staple once you add them to your closet.

Play our little game by finishing our sentence in the comments or head straight to purchasing for $850 via Net-a-Porter.

  • …shoes I tried on 3 times at Saks and I’m only glad I didn’t buy because I’ll be in flats for 12 weeks.

I am hesitant to purchase anything suede….but they are beautiful.

don’t … black suede looks very elegant for evening. I have loads of shoes and boots in suede – they wear very well, obviously not suited for pouring rain, if that’s your concern.

  • PERFECT indeed

These are beautiful pairs of shoes that I have ever seen, Very good design.
