Loeffler Randall Mesh Lace-Up Ankle Boots

While I love shoes, I never spent nearly as much time looking at shoes as I did handbags. Now that we have TalkShoes I am spending much more time researching and looking at shoes. In doing so, I am finding myself liking certain shoes that I would have never ever considered before. Sometimes all it takes is opening up your mind and seeing things differently. Take these Loeffler Randall boots. I guarantee that half a year ago I would have never even stopped to take a second look at these shoes.

But today I am, and here is why…

The Loeffler Randall Mesh Lace-Up Ankle Boots exude that downtown chic vibe. It is easy to have a classic idea in your mind of what makes a great shoe, and like I said these shoes are out of my old comfort zone. But with my constant skinny jean and tee shirt wearing, I imagine these lace-up leather boots with mesh panels to give such an interesting touch. While I am always looking for beautiful shoes, I also want statement shoes. I talk about my accessories being used to spruce up my outfits all the time and these shoes would give that interesting twist. The heel is only 3.5 inches, which is shoe terms is not that high. I have many friends who swear by Loeffler Randall and I almost feel tempted to give these a try. Buy via Saks for $625.

I think that these are really cool. I, too, would not have gravitated toward these at first because of the mesh, but they are growing on me.

I agree- I want my shoes to be beautiful, but there are times when I want them to say something (loudly, ha), also. I love the color of the leather on these LR’s… And the mesh is def statement-making!

Not sure I’d buy this shoe in this particular colour because of my skin ton, but I do understand their appeal. Its definitely a style worth giving a second look. I find myself looking at an item once, and convincing myself I hate it.. then the second time around I find bits about that I love. (spend way too much $$$ that way lmao)

The color is amazing, the laces, the sheer fabric, the heel. Personally ankle boots are always my favorite type of shoe, not necessarily this shape in particular, but I’m crazy about these.

Love these, they remind me of the CL Mamimo Rete or Meree, but without the hefty pricetag. Too bad they won’t look good on my wide feet.

This is really a comeback boot. I have a lace-up ankle boot from the 1980′s in a similar color. These are really downtown chic with a dress and textured hosiery. Wow!!!!
