It’s easy to take Christian Louboutin a bit for granted. He makes incredible shoes because…well, because of course he does. He’s Christian Louboutin, and that’s just how it works. To be clear, I don’t even like the Daffodil, on which these shoes are based. It’s not my thing at all, even though people in general seem to love it. In this instance, though, the wide swath of platform space is put to beautiful use to create a shoe that’s the very definition of glamour. The 20s-style Art Deco crystal pattern is so perfectly spaced and applied to the shoe, right down the the line of crystals that form a spine for the six-inch stiletto heel. If I were a shoe collector, I’d buy this pair in a heartbeat and merely sit back and admire them all day. These shoes definitely rank among my favorite Louboutins of all time.
