It looks like it is that time of year again, time for cozy sweaters, leggings, and to top off any comfy-chic, boots. Every fall I look forward to stepping away from the school books to go on my hunt for a great pairs of black and brown boots. As I mentioned in my introduction over at PurseBlog, I’m a college commuter student. That means that as much as I love my wedge or stiletto boots, sometimes I just need to go flat.
I’m sure I’m not the only college girl out there who is looking for a functional, sophisticated boot. Even if you’re not a student, the MICHAEL by Michael Kors Bromley Flat Boots are still a great everyday option that is an asset to add to anyone’s shoe collection. I’ve been fumbling on the Internet to see what’s on the market before I begin my epic day of shopping, and where was the first place I started looking? I turned to the one designer who never seems to lets me down — Michael Kors.
For those days where your schedule can be a bit hectic (believe me I know those days), the one-inch heel is perfect for keeping you on the move. This black distressed leather boot is decorated with a serpentine, snakelike material at the front, and the back of the boot is finished in a stretch material for comfort. This is an over-the-knee boot measuring sixteen inches high with the back of the boot coming slightly shorter, right below the knee. What makes for a great boot, in my opinion, is the boot’s versatility. If you can visualize your wardrobe and pair the boots with an outfit for everything from studying in the library to eating out with friends, then you have a winner. These boots will go great with jeans, a lace top and a leather jacket, or for a more casual occasion, a poncho sweater, jeans, and a scarf. From writing this post I think I may have convinced myself to buy a pair, I may not even have to go shopping after all.
You can score a pair of these MICHAEL boots for $250 at Macys.com.
