We’ve been at the whole New York Fashion Week game for a few days now, and I wanted to wait until I found a collection of shoes that I truly loved to start our shoe coverage for the season. Thankfully, that came early – the shoes of Casadei for Prabal Gurung Spring 2013 are futuristic and feminine, a combination that’s not exactly easy to pull off. Thankfully, these two pros do it with aplomb.

I’m glad to see Prabal paying more attention to his shoes; most brands add shoes and bags when they’re ready to expand, and this collection seems to be a step toward that eventuality.
