Tom Ford Shoes: What do you think?

Tom Ford is as revered as anyone currently in the fashion industry, and in general, I love his aesthetic. I loved him at Gucci, I love his fragrance and cosmetic lines, I think his style vision is unique and interesting. Unfortunately, I’m not such a big fan of his handbags, and now, I’d like to talk with you about his shoes.

Tom Ford footwear just debuted on NeimanMarcus.com late last week, and I’m not entirely convinced. The shoes are pretty good, but they’re not all that distinctive or interesting, which is the same problem I had with the bags over at PurseBlog.     I too found them too… “meh” well not really just “meh” more like “meeeeeeeeeh” nothing really noteworthy and I mean he’s TOM FORD! It could’ve been a million times better, and he better leave strassed shoes to Louboutin, it might be the crystals used, or the lighting but they look cheap.

    His shoes are very beautiful. Unfortunately i think he only want to sell basics online. His bold designs seems to belong to the stores. His shoes are very impressive in stores. I’ve tried some shoes and they’re more comfortable than Louboutin and i’ve received a compliment for a pair of sandals i bought from the fall 2011 collection.
