When it comes to shoes, Chanel always fascinates me. The company isn’t known for its seasonal footwear, and generally, that seems to be just fine by them. Chanel ballet flats are legendary, of course, but when it comes to other shoes, the brand tends to choose to make a statement with one bold look per season rather than cater to the stiletto-hungry masses with styles that would sell easily.
For Chanel Cruise 2013, that bold look is creepers. As I’ve mentioned in these parts before, I’m not such a fan of the look, but the fabrications Chanel has chosen are nice in their own right. There are also several pairs of pastel espadrilles, which look like they’d be the perfect springtime weekend shoe. In fact, why can’t I have a pair of those right now? Check out the rest of the collection after the jump.
