We’ve touched on the over-the-top, extremely expensive shoes of the Christian Louboutin 20th Anniversary Collection before, but with sales on the spring collections looming and pre-fall yet to start arriving to stores in earnest, we’re in a bit of a shoe desert and I thought it might be nice to really explore another piece of the anniversary line in detail. Today, that piece shall be the Christian Louboutin 20th Anniversary Daf 160 Python Boots.

Where to start? This bootie uses the platform and heel structure of the notoriously sky-high Christian Louboutin Daffodil Pumps, but it extends the shoe (this time, in natural python splashed with graffiti) up to just below the calf. In that space, Louboutin added what resembled red paint graffiti, which is certainly an expected touch on top of such a luxe material. The graffiti, which extends down the back of the heel, even looks like it has letters scrawled in it here and there.

Do you want you feet and ankles to look like the bathroom walls at CBGB (RIP)? That sounds like a sarcastic question, but it’s not; “punk luxury” has turned into a definite market space over the past few years, and if you’re truly committed to the look, these shoes take it to the next level. Buy through Net-a-Porter for $2695.
