Sigh. It’s Friday, so let’s have some foolishness, alright? And that’s what the Valentino Studded Patent Snow Boots are – pure foolishness. Or at least that’s what I think; you can let us know if you disagree (or heartily agree, as you should) by playing along with Fill in the Blank in the comments.

You know the drill – finish the sentence that’s in the title and enlighten us in the process. Alternately, if you’re so inclined, you can buy these boots through Net-a-Porter for $645.

hahahahahahahahahahaha! these are ugly as hell!

  • edoardo

embarassing that a fashion house like Valentino could have made this ugly thing and even expensive, please!

These make Uggs look cute. Snow boots might be necessary where you live, they are where I live. You purchase a plain pair of Uggs for $100.00 for the days when you cannot wear your cute boots, but you never pay $645.00 for them, and the studs I have no words for.

are fabulous. I would pretend to ski just to wear them.

What? No, these are awesome! I mean, yeah the price is ridiculously high, but as for looks, if I needed snow boots, I’d want a pair that looked like this if I had the choice.

Never ever would I wear these..
I am actually ashamed at Valentino – who I have always been a very big fan of..

For those of you too ignorant to appreciate and therefore judge the style, Valentino just put his mark on the classic ‘moon boot’, a staple in European (and not only) ski communities for decades. Even Dior made a version of the ‘moon boot.’ If you are a versatile fashionista, who recognizes a classic and extremely popular moon boot embellished by the Valentino brand (complete with this season’s studs), and whom, of course frequents the ski slopes in style in Europe or the Rockies, these FABULOUS boots are a MUST.

The Valentino Studded Patent Snow Boots are…$600 more than I paid for my Moon Boots 15 years ago. And BTW, Valentino…the the red sole doesn’t save them.
