Fashion Week Shoes: Chloe Spring 2012

Nothing brings me more joy than getting to write a positive post about a new collection from a brand that’s had some trouble finding its voice in the recent past. Chloe has had its issues since Phoebe Philo left for greener pastures (and eventually Celine), but based on Chloe Spring 2012, I’m optimistic that Clare Waight Keller can right the ship. The entire collection was a win in my book, including the shoes.

Chloe’s never been overwhelmingly known for its footwear, and its the segment that suffered the least under the rein of Hannah MacGibbon. With that in mind, this collection isn’t necessarily a return to form so much as a continuation of what her predecessor already had right. The take on the loafer is both more minimal and more feminine that the shoes that customers are used to associating with the word, and most of these are a workable way to take the trend into warmer weather.

I like the flats, I usually end up purchasing a pair of Chloe flats every spring…looks like I will again.

Please help! I have been searching the US for 2 months now. I cannot find the Chloe Raso sandal in the higher heel. Edon Manor is the only boutique where I can find the lower heel. I saw this shoe on Kate Botsworth when she appeared on the Chelsey Handler show. It’s a fabulous shoe! No one can help me. I’ve tried the boutiques and the outlet store in NY. I would really appreciate any help you could give me. Thank you, Pamela

I have been looking for that pair high heels for quite a whole, seems hard to get that in the store, i did not even see it appears online. I agree with you , it looks so chic in a elegant way. ….. but too pity can’t find them selling in the store ..
