Fashion Week Shoes: Celine Spring 2012

I love a good chunky heel. I feel like I’ve waited so long for them to come back in style, and now that they’re back, I’m going to enjoy them for as long as humanly possible. Not only do they make a big visual impact, but a chunky heel is much more forgiving and comfortable for the person who’s wearing it. At the end of the day, fashion does need to be functional most of the time.

If Celine Spring 2012 is any indication, Phoebe Philo is a woman after my own heart. (But I already knew that, duh.) From nondescript black suede pumps to eyecatching red-platformed, ankle-strapped head-turners, this line is for those of us who have been waiting for stripper shoes to go out of style since they showed up in the mid-2000s. Never change, Ms. Philo.

I love Cèline but I think that these shoes are not so chic and not so creative, the usual amazing taste of Phoebe maybe for these shoes is not so “clear”
