Charlotte Olympia: The cat’s meow?

Charlotte Olympia Kitty Flats Charlotte Olympia: The cats meow?Charlotte Olympia Kitty Flats, $660 via Net-a-Porter

Apologies for the somewhat uncreative headline, but I feel like we’re already a bit ahead of the game down here. We already played Fill in the Blank with the Charlotte Olympia Carmen Wedges, which have the same cat embroidery on the toe as the Charlotte Olympia Kitty Flats, but the latter have been on fashion sites all over the Internet in the past week like no one’s ever seen them before. If only people had asked us!

They didn’t ask us, though, and I think that this pair of shoes presents a distinct enough idea from the wedges from the same line that they’re worth a conversation. In fact, I think that the flats work on an additional level where the severe wedges might fail for some people. They’re irreverent but not obtrusive; this pair would blend in with a casual outfit just enough to be wearable in a regular flat rotation, whereas the platform wedges are clearly special occasion shoes. If I were to incorporate Olympia’s cats into my closet, this would be the way I’d do it. Buy through Net-a-Porter for $660.

They’re shoes that you would imagine eccentric rich girls wearing.

Tell you the truth, I really like it.
It is very important that owning a comfortable pair of shoes. I think that in order to the beauty, suffering is of no significance. Although the charm of flats is not nearly as high heels. We can not ignored the fact that it is not that every woman have the ability to put on more than 10 cm of the high heels.

This flat looks like a luxurious slipper to wear at home instead of outside. But I like it a lot.

Try as I might, I can’t quite imagine the grown woman who would look sane wearing these. Eccentric is right.
