Yves Saint Laurent and Salvatore Ferragamo pumps Style.com declares the closed toe pump the shoe of Summer 2011

We’ve been tracking the return of pumps around here for quite some time, and we’re not the only ones who have noticed that the classic, platformless, closed-toe heels are making a fierce comeback on the feet of chic women everywhere. Style.com has officially dubbed them the shoe of the summer, which makes us wonder which pumps you’re currently coveting for yourself. Us? We’re partial to the Salvatore Ferragamo (left) and Yves Saint Laurent (right) pairs that Style.com featured in its story.

    I’m glad these are back but summer is for taking advantage of showing off my pedicure while the weather is nice! I’ll keep these in mind for fall though!

    I don’t really see how closed toed pumps especially these in muted colors are a summer shoe. Right shoe wrong season.

    these are actually on top of my list for fall. I mean look at the curves!! But I really don’t think cap toe is a good idea for me. So i’ll wait for other versions.
