Maybe Lady Gaga grew tired of falling over in her sky-high platform shoes? To celebrate her latest single, Born This Way, the pop queen commissioned these elaborate, hand-made cowboy boots, which took 20 people a whopping 500 hours to make. The boots, hand-crafted by American company Tony Lama have a moderate heal and are adorned with three-dimensional wings and a unicorn emblem.
When asked how much the boots cost a company spokesperson Jenny Pilewski said: “They are priceless.” Tony Lama are famed in the ‘cowboy state’ of Texas and they have also made boots for Arnold Schwarzenegger, Ronald Regan, Harry Truman, and the cast of “Back to the Future III” including Michael J Fox.
