Ladies, do you know what I like about Miu Miu Fall 2011 shoes? Everything. Every. Last. Thing. Let me clear: There is nothing that I don’t like about Miu Miu’s fall shoes, except for the fact that I don’t make enough money to buy every last pair. In a size 9. HINT HINT.

These shoes have everything that I look for in a shoe, but most importantly, they’re a little weird. Perfectly serviceable stilettos of the variety that has become popular since the advent of the Yves Saint Lauren Tributes are now easy to find at a sub-$300 price point, so for me to dish out more than that for a pair of shoes, I need them to be a little bit daring. A fashion challenge, if you will. But at the same time, these designs are also undeniably pretty. With dense glitter and sculptural suede in a contrasting color create a tug-of-war between modern and retro, these shoes will be playing Miu Miu’s cool-girl demographic like a fiddle come fall.

Has anyone tried walking in these? That heel looks like hell to walk in, like you’re falling backwards or something.

Usually, the most important part of heel stability is the contact point and how it’s centered under the foot. A shape like this may be a little non-traditional, but I don’t see any structural reason that it would create problems when walking. The heels bow out a tad, but they come back to where they need to be.

Wow, those look amazing – I agree, they appear to be difficult to walk in but wow! MiuMiu gone wild, love it!! :)

I saw these last week and just about crapped my pants I was so excited. I’ll take #15 in a 40.5, please.

For some reason, I just don’t like them. I cannot put my finger on the exact reason…the heel that starts wider and ends more narrow than the heel of the shoe…. I suppose I would need to try them on to know for sure.

I honestly could see myself wearing any of these.

I completely love them- not the exotics, but every other pair is awesome.

Anything with sparkle usually finds its way into my closet. I love the sparkle shoes with the dusty rose suede. Two of my favorite colors.

I really like the thicker heels, but I’m having a hard time learning to love the curve. #9, though, may help a lot.
