We’ve been hearing about the Christian Louboutin Blake 100 Sandals for quite a while now, mostly because busty blonde namesake Blake Lively mentioned them in several interviews a few months ago while they were still in the manufacturing process, and now the first stock photos of the shoe are out. I had seen a grainy shot of the shoes here and there, but this shows the design in all of its multicolored glory.

I keep looking at these shoes and trying to decide if they look like something Blake Lively would wear, and usually the answer is “yes” by default. Any Louboutin shoe looks like a shoe she would wear, mostly because I think she owns all of them at this point, sort of like how she seems to own every Marchesa minidress ever made. Lively reportedly shirks the direction of a stylist in favor of choosing her clothes herself, which leads to some very clear trends in the pieces she tends to choose. I’m sure they’re well-made, but the overall aesthetic looks cheap to me, I’m sorry. And I’m not saying that because it’s come to the point where I can barely distinguish Blake Lively from Serena Van Der Woodsen.

They don’t really look high end.
Most that can truly afford to buy these shoes won’t do it because it’s Blake Lively’s name on it. It’s because they are Louboutin’s. Personally, if it were not for this site, I wouldn’t give them a second look.

I actually really like them in theory. I don’t know how practical they would be to wear (I know that is not necesarily the point ), but I would want to be compfortable in them and not feel like they were going to fall off everytime I took a step…

I have to agree with everyone’s opinion for these shoes. They don’t exactly scream upper east side to me which you have to admit is Blake Lively. I don’t dislike the shoes, in fact I think they are cute but not the best fit for Blake.

I would love to see a pair of shoes named after Rihanna! You know that those shoes would be edgy and gorgeous!!

I’m not feeling the black button jewel “things”, but besides that, I can see Blake Lively wearing them. Her fashion choices are sometimes off-beat (because, yes, she does not have a stylist). Can someone make a shoe for leigh lezark already?

I was looking forward to the shoes Louboutin named after Blake and I am just very underwhelmed… The looks speaks plastic dollar store sandals with a heel.

I think they are quite cool although i dont think i would be comfortable in them. They look too dainty and not held together well enough…. Can we have an Audrey mary jane or some such? As in Audrey Hepburn…

basically, let’s rememeber that the shoes were already designed and ready for the production when Blake saw them. At this point she said she fell in love with “those and could sleep with them under her pillow” it does not imply that CL designed the shoes, thinking of Blaker herself but gave them her name afterward because she loved them. I guess that he could have done much better by thinking ” im going to design a blake lively shoe”
