I agree with you except for the open toe. The open toe is what makes the shoe, it give it a slightly edgy look.

I love ankle boots, but I don’t like them with open toes. This is a gorgeous shoe, and if the toe were covered, it would be perfect.

Because of the materials and the open cut, these strike me as more of a sandal-alternative than a true bootie. But if ever there were a reason to reconsider, I agree – these are it.

I love the boots. I would like them even more if the toes were covered. When I see a woman in these, I just laugh. They look ludicrous.
