Now that we’ve made it past Memorial Day, it’s really time to talk about summer fashion in earnest. Anyone that’s ever lived in a warm climate knows that the challenges of summer dressing are unique, and shoes and accessories don’t get a pass just because they don’t cover vast swaths of skin. In fact, I’m probably more careful about picking shoes for summer than for any other season.
There’s just something so exhausting about hot weather that makes me want to put my heels and platforms away until after Labor Day has safely come and gone. Heels are work, no matter what anyone says, and I just don’t feel like doing work when it’s already 95 degree and humid outside.
