Now that we’re nearing the end of the season’s fourth and final fashion week, is anyone feeling a bit…fatigued? Every season starts to feel like an endless slog through a swamp of chiffon and sequins by the end, no matter how fabulous the clothes (and shoes, don’t forget the shoes!) might be. Which is why I think I’m feeling sort of ambivalent toward Chloe Fall 2011; these shoes certainly hit a lot of notes that have been mighty popular over the past few weeks, but at this point, that doesn’t seem as positive as it might have two weeks ago.

I see one pair of thick-heeled sandals that I will absolutely be trying on once the season rolls around, and the thick-heeled, platform-free python pumps are one of the season’s most wearable interpretations of both those trends. Although I’ll skip the leather wedge-mules, I can’t blame Chloe for the malaise that I’m feeling, and I bet that I’m not the only one who’s feeling it.

I am REALLY feeling the new direction of footwear. I love the platform-less shoes and thick heels.
My favorites are #1 and #4. I would wear the big bowed shoe with a cute little dress and the sandal with cropped boyfriend jeans.

i don’t think it needs to be exciting per se. I’d rather comfortable and looks nice as opposed to burdensome on the feet. I hate how feet look after a long day of “high end” women’s shoes. Ugh… not worth it. Those shoes look nice and def get the job done.

These remind me of Winston USA’s Adore line of women’s shoes. Nice look, easy to wear, easy on the feet. Keeps women’s feet looking as nice as when they wake up.

I loove the chunky heels, and oddly enough like the pair with the huge bow as well.

It’s all very wearable, and I can see myself getting a pair, but it doesn’t seem exciting.
