Dries Van Noten Fashion Week Shoes: Dries Van Noten Fall 2011

Forget everything you ever knew about a lucite heel, because Dries Van Noten Fall 2011 is here to redefine the concept for you. Van Noten has never made a hooker heel in his life (at least as far as we know) and specializes in a particular sort of European quirk that couldn’t be further from the sort of thing that you’d imagine on pole professionals. For Fall 2011, he somehow managed to take a material very much associated with a certain kind of woman and transform it to make shoes that will be coveted by her exact opposite.

Not all of the shoes in the collection were lucite-heeled, but they all followed along those same lines. As a whole, the collection is esoteric but still imminently wearable, and the funky shapes and material combinations make for a singular look that you potential customers might find more useful than they would imagine.

I like the green bootie and the orange bootie.
The furry one is a little weird. I don’t know if I want my feet to look as though I am transforming into the wolfman.

I can’t pick just one! This will be my dilemma for the fall.
