Do you work in an office? Do you want to have the best shoes in the entire building despite the dress code forbidding open toes and platforms? If you answered “yes” to both of those questions, the fine folks at Ferragamo would like to speak with you and perhaps interest you in a few of their pieces from Salvatore Ferragamo Fall 2011. I suggest you listen to what they have to say.

This collection constitutes a return to form for Ferragamo that’s both figurative and literal; the company seized the opportunity left by the slightly waning popularity of round-toed stiletto platforms to produce a line of tight, traditional pointed-toe pumps in a palette of textured black and white. These are the kind of shoes that you can wear not only to the office, but also to an upscale bar for drinks afterward and be proud of your footwear choice the entire time. If that’s not a perfect justification for paying top-dollar for footwear, I don’t know what is.

They are quite suitable for the career women.

I love these. I grew up wearing shoes like this then came the platforms. I can’t remember the last time that I purchased a pair of heels. I wouldn’t mind having every pair.
I’m a teacher so I don’t wear shoes like this everyday. But, I bet that I could find an event.

Snooze. They are fancy heels, that’s all I can say for them. I want fun in my footwear.

No platforms at the office? Yet another reason why I don’t work a 9-5 :)

I love every pair of these shoes. They remind me so much of the heels I used to wear when I was young. I’m really a fan of the fabric copies — the houndstooth checks, the tweed, and especially the pinstripe.
