Just because we’re headed toward warmer weather doesn’t mean precipitation is going to stop. In fact, in many parts of the US, winter snow is going to give way directly to spring rain over the next couple of months, and as with everything, appropriate footwear is necessary. But what if you don’t like wearing big, clunky rain boots when it’s warm outside?

Very simple, m’dears. All you have to do is get yourself a pair of the chic Loeffler Randall Lace-Up Rain Booties and you’ll be set for whatever wet weather might come your way. These might technically be a fall style, but to me, they seem most useful when shorts and dresses are the wardrobe norm.

Naturally, the best thing about these booties is that they don’t really look like weather-specific footwear. In fact, they don’t look substantially different from the cute little shoes that you see all kinds of stylish young women wearing during temperate weather. They also come in khaki green and beige, if you prefer, but I’d get the most use out of black. Buy through ShopBop for $165!

I wouldn’t have guessed that they were rain boots just by looking at them. Nice.

It’s okay. I don’t really know if I like it or not. Maybe if it were in a color other than black.
