As much as some people seemed to believe that leopard print would be nothing more than a flash in the trend pan, it looks as though the timeless print is indeed here to stay for quite some time. And with good reason; when worn correctly, animal prints can be used as a neutral that’s far more fun to wear than any actual neutral.

And certainly, “neutral” isn’t a word that comes to mind when you see the Casadei Leopard Print Ankle-Wrap Sandals for the first time. It’s not even on the list, but that’s what makes shoes like these so much fun – you’ll actually get some wear out of them, if you’re the heel-wearing type.

The height of the platform makes these extremely high heels a little bit more foot-friendly; although five and a half inches is tall, a nearly two inch front end makes it a little more manageable. And if you can manage it, these shoes give you a little extra leopard for your money: the underside of the sole is wrapped in the same leather as the upper. Buy through Neiman Marcus for $750.

These are really fun shoes, a great investment piece in my opinion. Although, is the leather embossed to look like lizard skin? Seems rather odd.

Leopard print has been around for decades. It’s not going anywhere.
If I were the heel wearing type, these shoes would definitely be on my radar.

Gorgeous, gorgeous, gorgeous! If we didn’t need the money for the mortgage, I’d have these shoes. And I’d probably fall out of my wheelchair bending over to check out how cool my feet looked.
