Sisters Danielle Snyder and Jodie Snyder Morel, designers of Dannijo jewelry, are expanding their accessories brand. Two season ago, they added handbags to their business itinerary, and come spring 2015 the brand will be expanding into footwear. According to WWD, the sisters explain that branching into footwear is the next logical step to grow the business because they “want to dress our woman head to toe, and shoes are a natural next step.”

WWD also reports that Dannijo chose to partner with Transparent Footwear Inc., a company that has previously collaborated on shoes for L.A.M.B. and Badgley Mischka, because designing footwear is different from their expertise in jewelry and handbag design. Decorating shoes, however, is where the Snyder sisters’ expertise will shine, and we can expect all kinds of embellishments, baubles, jewels and stones to adorn the brand’s shoes.

The collection will debut 24 styles starting at $250. We hope that the brand’s popular bib necklace patterns will somehow find their way onto our shoes! Follow along with the brand’s hashtag #Steponit to stay up-to-date on the footwear collection.

This sounds amazing. Even with prices at $250, there should be a shoe for everyone.
