Prada Personalized Pumps Feature

Made-to-Order boutiques are nothing new in footwear, and it seems like they get more popular by the day. Designers like Stuart Weitzman and Manolo Blahnik will now tweak signature designs to cater to the wearer’s material and heel preferences, among others. The latest designer to jump on this customization bandwagon is the one and only Prada.

According to The Cut, Prada will soon offer the Décolleté pumps with a variety of customizable options. These pumps will start at $745, and nearly ever aspect can be customized, including:

Style: Point-toe, round-toe or peep-toe
Material: Patent, smooth or saffiano leather, satin or suede
Heel height: 45mm, 85mm or 110mm.
Shoe Color: Almost every hue you can think of will be made available
Sole Color: Pale blue, nude or black

Last but not least, one of my favorite aspects of this personalization process the sole monogram, which sits near the Prada logo that graces all of the brand’s shoes. This personal touch makes your pair really yours. This feature will be made available at all Prada boutiques, so go to to find a boutique near you.

This sounds interesting. More discrete than the red soles which seem to be everywhere these days. CL just doesn’t have the same draw as they did a few years ago. I always liked the small prada logo under the heel, but the monogram is a really classy touch! It’s not as in your face as the CL red bottoms. I personally don’t like when people know how much I’ve spent on an item from a mile away, which is the message the average CL women is trying to get across.

I agree, the monogram under the heel is SO classy!
