It was said to have been the most anticipated Fashion Show this season, and Nicolas Ghesquière’s Louis Vuitton Fall 2014 collection debut lived up to the hype and then some. When you think of the Louis Vuitton brand, footwear may not be the first thing that comes to mind, and while LV has tried to get rid of these assumptions in the past, this Fall 2014 collection proves that Vuitton should definitely be considered when buying luxury footwear.

According to Vogue, Ghesquière felt that the collection “express[es] an easiness” of modern dressing, and the footwear exemplifies just this. This collection featured all boots and booties with curved heels, some of which were adorned with belt-like straps around the ankle. These runway shoes definitely set the tone for what’s to come from Louis Vuitton.
