There is something about doing your own nails that’s very relaxing. For the fifteen minutes it takes to do your nails, you are focusing so intently on your tiny little masterpieces that you forget about reality for just a few moments. After discussing some fall nail colors these past few weeks, I thought now would be as good of time as any to talk about nail care and how the Essie Cuticle Pen, Protein Base Top Coat, Nail Corrector Pen, and ‘3-Way Glaze’ Base, Strengthener & Top Coat are a great way to keep your nails healthy, strong and moisturized as we await the cold months ahead.

One of the hardest things to master during a DIY manicure is your cuticles (at least that is my biggest challenge). To be honest, I have been doing my own manicures for years and I still prick myself with the cuticle nipper. Thanks to the Cuticle Pen, I can say bye-bye to my prickly cuticles! Simply place the applicator on your cuticle and they moisturize and cleanup your cuticles instantly. Next we have the Nail Corrector Pen, also essential because sometimes a girl simply brushes outside the lines. This applicator is small enough to cleanup those little messes around your fingernails. And lastly, no DIY manicure is complete without the hydration and strengthening power of a Base Coat and Top Coat. You need fabulous tools to seal in a fabulous color, right?
