I know that many people out there will claim that buying a Christian Louboutin flat totally misses the point of the brand, but some of us out here don’t really have the option of wearing heels everyday, whether it be for medical or practical reasons. For those of us in that boat, it’s nice that Louboutin makes at least a passing effort at designing a creative flat from time to time.

I was originally unsure of the appeal of the Christian Louboutin Studded Pigalle Flats, but when I saw photos of La La Vasquez arriving to her wedding in a similarly studded Louboutin flat, I was totally sold.

When the shoes are actually worn, the studs appear to sparkle in the light, creating a perfect combination of glamour and punk rock. If these weren’t so expensive, they’d be on my feet this instant. What say you – is $990 for flats anywhere in the realm of reasonability? Even for these adorable specimens, I don’t think it is. Buy through Saks for $990.

I saw that photo of LaLa and absolutely loved the shoes. They catch your attention immediately. I think this flat is a bit more my style than the ones she was wearing though. Love them!

990$ is way too much for a flat for me. They’re cute, but not worth the $$ IMO.

These are fab. I wouldn’t pay that much, but if I were to buy a pair of CLs I might go for flats because they are my go-to shoes, while stilettos rarely make the cut.

I absolutely love these but I’m too much of a klutz to wear them. I would definitely end up hurting myself.

Actually when you follow a brand you appreciate it on all levels,
whether 4.5″ with or without a platform, or with your feet firmly planted on the ground.
You buy into the power of your own sex-appeal when you buy a loubou! so you can never fall flat honey!

Hey I am actually really new to the site and I am trying to find the Engin 120 in nude from this Spring. I don’t know which rock I was under, but for some reason I saw them when they were sold out every where in my size. Can anyone offer some helpful tips.

I am head over heels for them-

I bought a pair of these studded flats today. They are my very first pair of Louboutins.

My sales guy told me that they’ve sold three pairs so far this week (it’s Tuesday & I’m their 4th sale), and that it’s one of their best sellers. The price is breathtaking, that’s for sure. When I bought them, I told myself that I could return them if I wanted to, and/or if I had buyers remorse.

I have to say that they feel great on my feet. Over the years, my feet have become two different sizes (my left foot is an 8, the right a 9) and unlike most other brands, these shoes fit both feet perfectly. Additionally, pointy-toed shoes never felt good on my fussy feet, but for some reason, these shoes feel great! Have I mentioned that they feel great yet? :-D

    I guess I’m keeping them. :-)

    congrats Gigi !!!

I am so happy I found this thread, I was hoping to get the feedback of anyone wearing them. I might even get up the courage to buy them off netaporter come bonus time.

I am trying to introduce flats to my “heels only” look and I think the spikes and the pointy toe would make up well for the loss of height.

In the meantime, I would appreciate if anyone could point out a similar style that would not break the bank. All I found was rounded toes save for this DolceVita flat.

    Any other ideas

    Many thanks ladies,
